FAQ

How do I fit my ski helmet?

Measure your head circumference accurately and compare it with the size chart. When you receive the helmet, put it on and tighten the chin strap, then move your head from side to side and back and forth. Neither the strap nor the helmet should feel tight on your head, and the helmet should not fall on your forehead.

How to choose a ski helmet?

It is worth matching the helmet to the activity you will be doing - for example, resort skiing requires a versatile, functional model, while freestyle requires a reinforced model. Cross-country skiing requires a lightweight, well-ventilated model, as does ski touring. Time trials require special aerodynamic designs.

Is a ski helmet compulsory?

It is compulsory for children and young people under 16 to wear a helmet, but adults should also take care of their safety. In Austria, Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia helmets are compulsory up to the age of 15 and in Italy up to the age of 14. In Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and France there are no general regulations, but individual ski resorts may require them.
