What are the characteristics of softshell jackets for men?
Softshell is a fabric that is intended to replace the traditional three layers of outdoor clothing (hardshell): thermal underwear, a jacket with a membrane, and a warm fleece jacket or a sweater. The softshell fabric consists of three layers: outer polyester, membrane, and inner short-cut fleece or knitted fabric for thermal comfort and to prevent the body from getting cold. In this way, softshell jackets are very warm, fully windproof, breathable and, to some extent, waterproof.

Our men's softshell jackets are designed to enhance the effectiveness of the protective properties. The comfortable stand-up collar provides a shield for the face, which is particularly exposed to adverse weather conditions. The chin guard at the end of the main zipper protects against irritation to the chin. The bottom hem of the jacket is adjustable with a cord lock, and the cuffs are adjustable with Velcro so that the jacket tightly covers the body. An additional lining from soft micro-fleece provides excellent thermal insulation, while the inner protective strip along the main zipper reduces heat loss.
Men's softshell jacket functionality
The softshell jackets for men also have an additional DWR impregnation coating that improves the hydrophobic properties of the jacket, making it more moisture-resistant. Elements enhancing functionality include: two zipped side pockets, a breast pocket, and reflective accents on the front and back of the jacket.
